You’ll help us: Manage the issuing and returning of library stock Shelving stock and keeping the library in good order Ordering of all library materials in line with the school policy Supporting HOYs and HODs with curriculum material orders Withdrawing stock and donation according to NAE policy Processing and cataloguing new material ready for shelving Managing the library management system and supporting its use by students Administering the overdue system Helping library users to find material to meet their needs Assisting library users to become proficient in using online resources Encourage students and staff to use the library through a range of library-based activities Supervise students using the library Process and catalogue subject materials for the Heads of Department and phase leaders. Work towards and support the school vision to be outlined in the school improvement plan Contribute to the schools ECA programme Contribute and the support the annual extended essay process for all IB students, specifically supporting reporting writing, structure and referencing. Support the Head of Secondary with in school assessment material preparation. Engage actively in the Success Factors appraisal process As a genuine team-player, you’ll work across our local BCB team to support Managing the school hall calendar of events and bookings, supporting the Head of Careers and university counselling with events in and around the library and school hall. Supporting the secondary team during the examination’s weeks with supervision in and around the library and school hall. Throught the period of work experience assisting the Head of Careers and university counselling.
