EMBASSY OF THE DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF SRI LANKA EMBAIXADA DA REPÚBLICA DEMOCRÁTICA SOCIALISTA DO SRI LANKA SHIS QI 26 VACANCY NOTICE The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Brasilia is seeking eligible and qualified male applicants for the following position in the Embassy. Position: Chauffeur (Locally recruited) Opening date:Immediate Period of contract: One (um ano) year contract basis with initial three (3) months probationary period. Basic functions of positions Driver Qualifications required Should be a Brazilian Citizen or Possess a valid Brazilian Visa Possessing a valid Driving License in Brazil High number of years of driving experience is essential Ability to Communicate in English Language Technical Knowledge in vehicle maintenance Ability to drive automatic vehicles is required. The candidate must demonstrate willingness, initiative, diligence and a cooperative spirit. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work under demanding circumstances and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. No criminal record and must present a certificate issued by competent authorities attesting to the absence of any criminal record. Residence close to the Embassy (with in vinte km) will be an added qualification and proof for the residence address. Experience Proven past experience at Foreign Diplomatic Missions, Internal organizations and/or Government institutions will be a competitive advantage. Should have experience driving within Brasilia -DF, including good knowledge of the locations of Government Institutions and Diplomatic Missions, have experience in driving around Brasilia-DF including the knowledge of the locations of Government Institutions and Diplomatic Missions.
